For now, this olive tree is still small. Its branches are young, its roots grow a little deeper every day, and many years of sunshine, wind and new stories lie ahead.
The little gardener knows that growing takes time. With his watering can, a little patience and plenty of care, he looks after his young tree. He cannot make it grow faster – but he can give it everything it needs to flourish.
And while the olive tree grows taller and stronger year after year, the little gardener grows too. Perhaps one day they will both look back and marvel at how much has grown from such small beginnings.
