FRANK SINATRA WAS INSEPARABLY LINKED TO COCKTAIL CULTURE, ESPECIALLY THE MARTINI
The classic martini is served with green olives, but Sinatra drank his martinis very dry, often with just one olive. The olive was not only a garnish, but also a style statement. In the bars of Las Vegas and Hollywood, ‘a Sinatra Martini’ was almost a term in its own right.
Recipe for the 1955 Frank Sinatra Dry Martini:
• 7.5cl dry martini
• 1.5cl dry vermouth
• 1 olive for garnish
