Care & Storage Instructions
- The cellophane wrapping is made from cellulose and can therefore be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
- To prevent moisture buildup, the soaps should not be stored inside the paper bag.
- As the soaps contain no chemical hardening agents, they should be kept in a soap dish that allows water to drain away, preventing them from becoming too soft.
- Since the soaps contain no chemical agents to ensure uniform colour, slight variations in colour may appear as they dry. This is completely natural and does not affect their moisturising properties or benefits for the skin.
Our Olives – Your Soap
About twelve years ago, we began making soap from the oil of our own olives. They grow on traditional Galega trees in the Ribatejo region, a variety prized for the quality of its oil. We were inspired by the growing number of people with skin problems and by the long-known moisturising properties of olive oil soap. We completed training in soap making, and our workshop is officially registered and licensed.
Handmade using the cold process
Our soaps (lavender, rosemary, lemon and mint) are made entirely by hand and cure for one to two months. As we use no artificial hardeners, please keep your soap on a draining soap dish.
Care for skin and hair
The soap cleanses body and hair and supports the skin's natural protective barrier. This often makes lotion or conditioner unnecessary.
Purely natural
We use only natural essential oils and no synthetic fragrance enhancers, so the scent gradually fades over time. Slight colour variations are part of handmade production and completely harmless.
